How Frankl Works

Understand how deterministic client-side scoring, zero-knowledge architecture, and Arbitrum One smart contracts safeguard your cognitive health data.

Why Your Health Data Belongs to You

Traditional healthcare websites and commercial psychometric apps require you to create an account on their centralized servers. When you answer sensitive questions about depression, memory loss, or autistic traits, your intimate answers are stored in corporate databases vulnerable to breaches, commercial profiling, and insurance harvesting.

Frankl completely changes this paradigm. No answers are ever sent to a remote server. All scoring algorithms execute deterministically on your device.

Choose Your Privacy Tier

Tier 1: Guest / Offline

Local Browser Storage

Take any assessment immediately without logging in. Results are scored locally and saved strictly to your device's browser. Download your results as JSON or CSV reports whenever you choose.

Tier 2: Encrypted Cloud Backup

IPFS Decentralized Storage

Back up your assessment history to IPFS. Payloads are encrypted with military-grade 256-bit AES keys before leaving your machine. Nobody without your private key can decrypt the data.

Tier 3: On-Chain Sovereignty

Arbitrum Notarization

Notarize your RSA public key and register completion records on Arbitrum smart contracts. Establishes immutable, verifiable proof of your cognitive records over time.

The 3 Conditions for On-Chain Registration

We believe in total user agency. On-chain registration on Arbitrum One never happens automatically. It requires all three of the following conditions to be met:

  1. Connected via reallysimplewalletapi: You authenticate with ReallySimpleWallet, provisioning your EOA and 1-of-1 SAFE multisig.
  2. Frankl Application Wallet Gas Availability: The community-supported Frankl Application Wallet (0xd71AF...) has sufficient balance (>= 0.0005 ETH) to sponsor your on-chain gas costs for free.
  3. Explicit User Opt-In Choice: You explicitly click "Activate On-Chain Identity" in your Data Wallet. If you prefer to keep your records off-chain, no transaction will ever be broadcast.
